My Approach

One of the things I enjoy most about this work is seeing people make meaningful changes to their life and, at times, helping people change how they feel about what may have happened in their past.

The Human Givens approach to mental health and wellbeing uses the most effective psychotherapeutic techniques from a wide range of approaches, combining them into one highly effective and flexible 'tool box'.

Why “Human Givens” and what will WE do?

What WON’T we do?

  • Attempt to dig up real or imagined miserable memories from the past.

​

  • Set out on prolonged so-called voyages of “self-discovery”.
