As a Human Givens ("HG") Practitioner, this means that I hold Professional Membership with The Human Givens Institute, accredited and regulated by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, the highest independent accreditation body in the UK.

I have many years of experience working with people in different contexts to support their development and am skilled in helping people overcome difficulties to lead fulfilling lives.  I feel very grateful to work as an HG Practitioner as it is an incredibly refreshing approach to psychotherapy and mental health. This work enables me to support Veterans through the UK charity PTSD Resolution and have seen some wonderful success working with this community and the HG approach.  Having completed thorough training with Rape Crisis Scotland I am grateful to have the opportunity to support survivors to overcome the distress and difficulties in their current lives as a result of of sexual abuse, assault and rape.

In my private practice I work with people of all genders 13+ and make every effort to work as an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, also working to support family members of the LGBTQ+ community.

In my personal life I have a lot of respect and appreciation for the land and the systems of relationships in my life, near and far, also valuing all forms of personal expression through music, dance, art making and art appreciation.

I hold professional insurance and an enhanced current DBS certificate for working with vulnerable people.  Through my HGI membership I work under supervision and to a strict code of ethics.
